Mid level teams can push, beg, blow etc all they want. No conference wants them, and there is no incentive to take them.

Nothing will happen until the GoRs are about finished in 10 years. And nothing may happen even then.

Doubt it. Also, UNC students are more uppity than UVA students. The UNC fan base is very similar to Bama's though except worse because theres a more disproportionate ratio of people who couldnt get in:people who attended. Plus so many of their students are yankees. State would be a much better fit, but I cant see UNC/Duke/State/Wake breaking up.

ECU is the low hanging fruit here. Great fit culturally. Big time party school, lots of hot skanks. Crazy about football and a college town. The answer is to invest in ECU who is a decent football and baseball school for a mid major. You have them join the SEC and you can optimistically think they have a chance to finally become the football powerhouse NC is missing.

I hope not. All of the expansion teams have been largely useless and have been burdensome on the board. I mean imagine a world without the expansion teams. No Mizzoukills, No JizzJars and No Piglets. Sorry USC, you're guilty by association with that trash.
