I was listening to Tiger Talk and Derek Ponamsky was doing his weekly segment and he said the it is likely to happen and NC State and Virginia Tech are the two likely to be added. He also said the B1G whatever they want to call themselves has reached out to Georgia Tech and Virginia. Then went on to say the ACC would possibly lose Florida State to the Big 12.

What is everyone else hearing???

Not true, my friend. LSU will be scheduled to play all SEC opponents who are ranked in the top 25 in the preseason poll. Bama will get Tennessee 12 times.

UVa and GT to Big ten, NCSU and VT to SEC, and Clemson and FSU, possible more, to Big 12. That's the rumors.

Nc state and vtech suck, but it'll definitely help out in basketball.

It is kind of like we all knew it was coming even before this was announced. We thought VTech and NC State would be added to the SEC and Clemson, FSU and potentially other ACC teams would join the Big 12.

SEC needs to take FSU and keep those bastards outta Florida.
I bet Clemson fans are gonna be pissed off about this. They sure are a prissy bunch. SEC definitely don't need them.

OMG, were you bitching about Bama playing UT every year when Manning was there or right after he left and they won a NC?

I could be ok with that. Three "division games", four "West" games agaisnt the other West pod, one permenant "East" opponent game.

Champsionship game would have two rounds (West A leader vs. B leader and East A leader vs. B leader) with West winner playing East winner.

Four groups:

West - A
Bama
Ole Miss
Miss St
AU

West - B
LSU
Arky
TAMU
MO

East - A
UF
UGA
NC State
UK

East - B
VT
USC
Tenn
Vandy

Personally I'd rather Georgia Tech or FSU over NC State but UGA and UF would throw a bitch fit if we took either one of those. It's only a matter of time before VT is part of the SEC though

If you think we're prissy don't talk to those Nole fans lol. And CU and FSU fit in the SEC much better than VT and NCSU, Mizzou, but it's all about geography.

If we do pick up Va Tech and NC State it is simply to get more TV viewers. Those markets are huge.

I would prefer to add FSU and Clemson but USCe and UF would never allow that.

Thats exactly how I see it playing out in the end. Having 2 8 team divisions just doesn't allow for enough rotation. Not playing UGA and USCe but once every 12 years isn't going to cut it

Yes, Florida was better than Tenn during that era, it just wasn't as drastic as now, but for like the 50 billionth time, the issue is not playing Florida it's never playing Tenn or UGA.

The SEC CG was the 5th time in the last 16 years that Bama has played UGA

I rather see two strong football schools admitted to the SEC. Adding NCSU would be like adding another Kentucky. FSU and Clemson would be my picks, but I don't think FSU wants anything to do with playing an SEC football schedule.

They can't block it on their own. They need to get 2 other schools to vote against it.
