Agreed. Lets ditch teams with more than 1 team per state. So bye bye Tenn, State, & Auburn. Then we can add UNC. That was we lower the # we divide the cut up yet add more area to our footprint.
You're welcome.

I hope we don't expand.....however, if we do I would like to see us take North Carolina and Duke. both are pretty decent in football, and and we would wrap up basketball in a tight little bow. Imagine football like it is today, then basketball having Duke, Kentucky and North Carolina. Baseball having Vanderbilt, South Carolina and LSU. We could dominate in the three major sports.

Someday, science will provide a vaccine for threads like this.

Not even a little. Just trying to solve a problem. I think me and you are on the same page. If we do my way all the SEC schools get more money, scheduling is easy, and the academic side skyrockets.

Why do these dumbasses in charge of SEC TV negotiations sign 20 YEAR deals to begin with? Do they not freakin realize the hooks involved in cutting a long term deal
like that?
Like the article says, expansion is the only way to break the contract and thats why it happened last time.
The SEC should never sign more than a 5 year deal even if it does mean less money up front.
