SEC Entrance Penalty for Subpar Programs?

Texas Longhorn baseball is an absolute joke. What should Sankey do about it? Del Conte sold him on the merits of their baseball history. He sold him a bill of goods that was counterfeit.
0-5 against TCU after the worse loss in program history against UT Rio Grande Valley? A school of what 523 students?

Maybe once Pierce is canned, you can take off the blinders and come back to support your school. As I know your fan base, no one is showing up in Austin to support this team. Sad to be honest.

Two years ago I posted a stat that there have been more CWS including Texas than there have been without Texas

All I know is that their field, team, coaching, and atmosphere are all a joke. Definitely not remotely SEC. Bunch of rich wine and cheese crowd at the baseball games …

The funny thing is that I was in San Marcos earlier this year for a midweek game when we played Texas State, and it was a better baseball atmosphere. That was with a ton of tsip gear in the crowd (that is where all the fans must have went) … and we beat the crap out of them. Game wasn’t remotely close.
Disch is a terrible experience, with basically no students in the stands after the first couple of innings. It could be because the turf makes for a good oven

Texas A&M’s current penalty is the inability to win conference championships and national championships in the major three sports. If anything, TAMU should be relegated back to the Big XII since they aren’t an SEC caliber athletic destination.

In the scheme of all things in the Big 3 sports…. Texas baseball is pretty consistent at being very good.
This is just one of those years. They don’t do this very often 2 years in a row.

This might come as news to you but we're well aware David Pierce is a terrible head coach and that this team sucks. We're all looking forward to the search for a head baseball coach this offseason.

I am too. It should be a very humbling experience with that “tradition” and nothing else to show for it. Nobody wants to play baseball on turf
