Record doesn't completely reflect it, but LSU has been competitive in every conference game except for the game at Tennessee.

Tennessee isn’t their worst margin of defeat. They lost to Tennessee by 20, but lost to Alabama by 21 (and 17 in the second game). Seven of LSU’s 12 loses have been by double digits. LSU is much better this year. But your statement is a stretch.

LSU had the lead against Bama with 9 minutes left, it was a good game. Strategy of playing at Bama’s pace did not work ultimately, even though LSU was able to score a lot of points.

I think you probably will. Vols put up 102 there. Granted, U.K. is starting to play a bit better defensively but you have the weapons to do it.
