Dude, it's Vandy. they can say it's their "super bowl" all day, but it doesn't make them not shitty

Funny considering all the "Vandy might good, I think Vandy might upset" chatter that was going on pre-game. Plus anytime declares you their super bowl and you're playing a team that is traditionally the weakest in the conference it means they are trying much, much, harder.

Not to mention our star RB is still building his mental confidence back and still had 100+ yards and a pair of TDs

Lol ok. I don't think them saying that gave them new, better players.

Winning @ an SEC team who declared you their "Super Bowl" and that "no one exist beyond the schedule except SC" >>>> beating an ACC team on a neutral site.

Everyone kept saying wait until SC plays a real team, the same can be said for UT.

I'm with you on the "wait until we play a real team" thing...but I'm sorry, it's still Vanderbilt and in true Vandy style, they fricked themselves over and over. NC St is better than vandy, but i hear you, not an SEC caliber test either way, really

No but under Franklin their recruiting has. Not top-tier certainly, but better.

No not at all, NC St. should not be able to score on a top of the line SEC defense as it had a hard time doing vs us not so long ago.

and dominated. pretty much all pundits picked NC State over UT before the game.

SC looked like a 4 loss team and so did UT. not sure about UGA yet but I can just about bet that they're overrated just like every year.

the East is wide open.

We know that it will be another SECW blowout in SECC game.....none of the top SECE teams looked impressive so far.

The Dawgs are missing a ton of starters on defense.
Your 2013 SEC champions take the field against Bowling Green in just over an hour though.

Geez, light up people. The East seems to be wide open at the moment, but we aren't halfway through week 1.

However, based on what we've seen, SCar is overrated, UGA sucks, Vandy is good for Vandy, and Tennessee is da best.

LSU vs LSU's backups for SECCG
------------------
Always wanting the easy opponent in whatever championship game they're in.

No, we (most LSU fans) tend to prefer non-divisional opponents we haven't already beaten on the road when playing in championship games. Almost a no-win situation for the regular season winner in this case.

But LSU doesn't yet have the gravitas to avoid such scenarios, so we play the hand we're dealt. And yes - many of our fans bitch about it. Poking fun at us sheds light on how your team got in the game. You should understand that, and just be happy about falling arse-backwards into your 19th or 20th national championship.

Isn't this how we start out every season? Then Georgia finds a way to the SECCG, Tennessee flames out late, Vandy stays Vandy, and USCe drops one they shouldn't taking themselves out too.
