SEC East week (Crazy stats thread)

We have 3 great meaningful matchups towards who will knock off the SEC West in Atlanta.
Missouri plays a surprisingly talented, but young Tennessee.
Florida is getting a throwback to the Spurrier-led, defenseless 95 Gators when SC comes to town.
Georgia gets to unleash its two headed monster on another defenseless team.
Interesting stats:
South Carolina gives up 6.4 yards per rush when leading, but only 3.8 when they are losing.
Georgia was averaging 288.8 rushing yards per game with Gurley (Would be 8th nationally, just ahead of Auburn) and a surprising 215.8 without him (31st nationally).
Missouri is averaging 250.2 yards of offense in SEC play. 250.2. This would make them the 2nd worst offense in college football ahead of only Wake Forest's absolutely dreadful 203 yards.
Florida is 3rd nationally in red zone conversions at 93.33%.
Tennessee had 645 yards of offense in their last game. The last time they put up 600+ yards against an SEC opponent was against Kentucky in 2004.

who can understand this? I think you are trying to communicate that these match ups will determine what east team goes to Atlanta but i'm not sure. the bravado about beating the west is all I clearly understood but I don't believe it.

Was ahead of Chubb before his injury. Sony is a motherfricking stud

And now he's behind Chubb.

Because he got hurt. UK was his first game back

And? He's still behind Chubb.
I've watched UGA all year, I've had Gurley and Chubb on my fantasy team. I would've taken Sony had he not been injured, but that doesn't mean he is half the back Chubb is.

I've watched every snap they've played. Love Chubb, but this just isn't close to true

So have I. Sony raped a shitty Troy team and hasn't done anything outside of that.

How is it false? 29 carries, 152 yards and 1 TD in the 4 games outside of Troy.

Except also be an exceptional slot receiver, be a star on special teams, be a decent wildcat QB, AND be a pretty damn good RB himself.
As a UF fan, you are just lucky you didn't get to see in person how good he can be in multiple roles on offense. The kickoff coverage was night and day difference when he was there and when he hasn't been available.

Was great against Clemson while splitting carries, was great against USCe including a big receiving TD, the Troy game, the injured in 1st quarter vs. UT, then excellent again vs. UK.
He's far superior to Chubb in the passing game as both a receiver and a blocker. He's as instinctive a ball carrier as there is. He also might be the best ST player on UGA's team. You're just wrong.

Your idea of excellent is skewed for something. See Chubb and Gurley for 'excellent'. Then compare Sony for "pretty good".

He obviously has an agenda, so just let him remain in ignorance. I am just so very happy to get Sony AND Gurley along with Chubb this week.
