To get this back on track, Turman, one of our many RBs coming off of injury has been shining in our scrimmages. I'm hoping that he just another cog in the wheel.

Yes. He was a 5* recruit that was dropped to 4* in the final rankings but the 247 guy says he's currently showing up like a 5*. He's explosive as hell and even though we expected big things from him, he has been a big surprise in terms of the level he's already playing at so soon. Kahlil McKenzie, was our big pick up at DT this cycle and a concensus 5* (he absolutely defined 5* as a recruit - just one of those undisputed prospects who terrorized everyone he went against). He is the one, we expect to be a game changer the moment he steps on campus and while many of us thought Tuttle would play early this year, he's already playing better than anyone expected. Kahlil shows up in the Summer.

With the others we already have on the line, if all goes well (no injuries, major issues etc.) the DL should be nasty this year.

From what I've heard, McKenzie is gonna have to shed some poundage before he arrives.

Not worried, Reggie will make sure he's ready to go.

Vickers looks like he'll be making an impact this season as well

Yeah he was carrying extra weight when he was dominating camps but I have no doubt that he'll be fine when he arrives. Not only will Reggie make that happen but I'm sure we've already sent him whatever routine, weight preferences, etc. we'd like for him to meet by the time he arrives.

Kahlil would be just fine on his own, I think, but if he even thought for a moment about showing up with too much poundage his Dad, Mom, Uncle, and Grandpa would be all over him before he had a chance.

Vickers is a genuine surprise and a very happy one at that.

Yes, I think most were expecting a redshirt year due to questionable work ethic.(one reason he was dropped from 5* to 4*)But he has shown up and been a leader in the weight room and a beast on the line. Now everyone is saying he'll contribute this year.
