UT- now or never
UGA- offense ( can UGA throw the ball )
UF - offense needs work, defense steps back
MIZZ - they somehow are usually around
VU- improving
UK - plateau reached
USC - a lot of work to do

UF offense doesnt need work, just a QB. Which we ll have one way or another

Defense will lose a few players but i dont see a big drop
Look at the guys returning and the class we have coming in.

Do need a kicker

Not sure how that would be the first thing you'd jump to. The only real 2 metrics that would matter in comparing head coaches would be 1) Years at current institution or 2) Years as a Head Coach...

Is time as HC in the SEC measured in a different unit of time? Obvious attempt to disagree for trolling purposes. Would expect nothing less.

You see my team affiliation, and jump straight to that conclusion. I'd expect nothing less.

At least you acknowledge that it's a recurring problem across the hawg fanbase. That's the first step.

Jury still out on McElwain imo.

Credit for winning the division, but this was the worst East literally ever and the way the offense completely tanked after Grier went out gives pause.

I'm not saying he can't or won't be successful but not sure he will either.

I agree it's UT's to lose. If Butch doesn't win the East next year then I don't think he's going to.

UF would be next in line, but has more question marks.

The rest will be a complete unknown and then UK/Vandy

This. I don't understand why everyone thinks our defense will suddenly suck next year. We aren't losing as much as people think (hope).

On offense we add a year experience to Calloway (best freshman receiver this year) and return all 3 running backs for what should be a pretty deep backfield. O-line should be better with actual depth and experience we didn't have going into 2015. And unless both of our QBs get hit by buses on campus, we will have a better starting QB than this year (hell even if they did get hit I think either of them in a wheelchair can't be worse than Treon).

I know the UT game won't be a cakewalk in Knoxville, but until the vols prove they can beat us, I refuse to believe they will improve more in a year than we will.

Tennessee gets both Florida and Alabama at home next year.

They currently have 11 and 9 game losing streaks to both.

If they lose both again...

We need a 10 win season and to at least split UF and Bama. That's my pass/fail line for next year.

UF is returning more on defense than people think.

But don't spoil their fun. We'll be taking a major step back for sure

FIFY and I'll finish the sentence, "... wait a month then talk about how 2017 is their year!"

The heat is on Stoops for next year. Another year of this crap and we're looking elsewhere. The East is hot garbage and we still find ways to eff it up.

Ppl who just troll UF to troll obviously dont watch the games to see how thin our oline is. How we have to put two DL on offense to go heavy package. Cox Jr and CeCe both block on goalline plays due to lack of OL

We dont need a superstar QB, of ourse it helos but hell Treon was missing guys by 6-10 feet when they were wide open. I believe Del Rio is our day ine man until someone takes the job mud season either Grier or a prized FR

Butch Jones will be the next Mark Richt. He will be there forever but completely coast through each season with little to show for it.

If he can get us a couple SEC championships in his first 5 years, we can deal with the rest later

i'm not all that impressed with McElwain. Smart is new as a HC. however, I still think UT, UF and UGA (the big 3 in the east) will fight it out for the east title. i'm leaning toward UGA. but I have also done so for the last several years.
