I call bullshite. There are several high profile recruits from Ga scheduled to be at that game to include Mecole Hardman. I hope they get their fricking tooth knocked out.

what a stupid fricking point. A division of a conference doesn't "need" anything.
Mom met my dad at UT, he grew up a GA fan, but UT was far better in his major
He left school to go die for his country in Vietnam
So I got a soft spot for the Vols, Sue me...

great, so just say from the get go you're pulling for ut because of family ties and nobody bats an eye. That would make far more sense than making up some retarded point about the needs of the division.

Did you attend any UT games with him bu chance?

It would make our division look strong
I'd love to see Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida and us sweep the west this year
Vandy, pipe dream. But go Dores after this week

Don't worry. The Gamecocks will keep winning our bowl games to represent the SEC.

A Vol win changes the conversation about the strength of the SEC East
I would agree with this. Does not change conversation about East vs West, but would be big step in right direction. BAMA loss to OU only made Stoops more obnoxious with his comments about SEC being overrated. Losing to TN might shut him up.
Go Vols!

No, what the East needs is for Florida to recover from Muschamp, we're the only SEC East team that really counterbalances Alabama (UGA counterbalances LSU, and I guess UT counterbalances AU) with Florida down there's basically one East team that realistically can win the whole conference (UGA) vs. 2 West Teams (Bama and LSU) with an additional West team that is nationally elite once every 5 years or so (Auburn).
The other upside to the East being back is it keeps weak West teams that aren't truly elite from winning the conference and then getting boat raced in a bowl (see Bama getting 40+ dropped on them in back-to-back bowl losses).
