What are these teams vs. the western division in this same time frame? These numbers are meaningless since everyone knows the east is like a cripple wrestle mania.

East still has a longer streak than the West of consecutive conference championships since the expansion......

You are more than welcome to pull Richts record vs all SEC teams since he's been there....I think there is 1 team he has a losing record against in the regular season.....

13-9 sounds about right.

Dominance...

You all STILL havent won an SEC game in over 2 years.

Think about that

SEC East

Biggest collection of washed up, overstayed coaches in college football.

Richt, Muschamp, Pinkel, and Spurrier all need to head on out. They are a collection of coaches that can get all the way to just right before the top and build solid programs.....and then fall short cause they just aren't cut out for it.

The only exception to them is Spurrier, who got his first and only title off of a mulligan.

How can Muschamp be "washed up"

Richt, Spurrier and Pinkel are all well regarded and seasoned coaches.

You gumps

Yeah...let's take a look at that streak:

1993: Florida
1994: Florida
1995: Florida
1996: Florida
1997: Tennessee
1998: Tennessee

2 out of 6 teams carrying the load in the SEC East.

He was responding to an Arkansas fan. How many times has Arkansas won the West?

So what. Alabama,LSU and Auburn are the winners in the WEST.

frick that. The balance dips from one side to another.

Where was Ole Miss in the SEC championship game when the "East was so strong"?

Each division has 3 teams that have won an SEC title. I believe the overall record is 11-11.....looks like UGA vs Bama in December wi break the tie.....won't be 5 yards short this year....

This was all started by a Jr fan who's manipulating the data by starting with the first year SC became remotely relevant. We're only looking at the best few years of Jr football, ever. So congrats on successfully making a dent in the 40-something to 17ish all-time UGA/SC record, but like Stephen Garcia's sobriety, it'll be short lived.

Using a certain timeframe is "manipulating data" in Georgia.

Been going on for half a decade now. That's getting close to a pattern, not a fad.

Impressive series record. You guys really have our number

Given how bad we were in the '90s the Hogs really should be ashamed that the record isn't more in their favor.
