Georgia's is impressive even though Watkins and Boyd are gone

Agreed...while it's only one game, UGA's D was the most impressive this weekend...they put a clinic on Clemson, especially in the second half...

Thank god you guys hired a real coach. It was getting tiresome with that last one being a cupcake as well.

Who's led the SEC in total and scoring for the last SIX years? I'll hang up and listen.

With TAMU, UF (new spread offense), Ole Miss, MSU, Tennessee, and LSU all loaded at WR, I highly doubt that will happen again. Also add in that your secondary is complete garbage, and y'all might have one of the worse pass defenses in the league this year.

I'm not even trying to joke. Unless y'all figure out that secondary, every game you have will be a shootout. All those teams I mentioned above have better WRs than WVU (well UF remains to be seen).

Wow I didn't realize msu gave up that much to USM. Allowing that team over 175 is a disgrace, with or without starters. This is the worst USM team out of the recent years.

And what exactly do you call giving up zero touchdowns to Ole Miss? One stinkin' lousy field goal is all you could muster against our disgraceful defense. Southern Miss got 15 firsdowns against us, Ole Miss got 17. Southern Miss gained 283 yds, Ole Miss gained 317. Very similar stats, with or without starters. Looks like Southern Miss and Ole Miss are pretty comparable teams, wouldn't you say, Dickhead???

Isn't this thread about current defensive rankings?

tell me when y'all play a noticeable opponent

You realize Boise St and Utah St are in the same conference and both are expected to compete for the league title, right?

Oh, and USU finished ahead of Boise last year

But stats aren't everything.

It may only be one game but that is not something I expected to see this season even once.

What happened to TAMU having a top sec defense?

I think their defense is to play offense and it will work against teams who aren't full of depth and conditioned well against it.
