"LSU was a missed FG from 2."

We played so bad in that NC game that OS would have beaten us.

They had no defense to stop the running game. Can't beat Saban twice using the same game plan.

8-4 yr one at LSU and 7-6 at Bama. So, 12 losses after yr one at LSU (5yr period) and 5 after yr one at Bama (4 yr period).

Lsu was 3-8 the year prior to Saban's arrival and Bama was 6-7.

I'd also like to see a chart of the total wins and winning percentages of the coaches who followed the legends on this list who are no longer active.

I think many people still want to give Saban the credit for what Miles has accomplished at LSU.

Most coaches will tell you it's harder to maintain a winning program than it is to build it. Who followed coach Bryant, Spurrier, Neyland, Vaught,
Dooley, etc, and were they able to do as well as Miles has done following a legend? That chart would probably tell us more about what Les Miles has been able to accomplish at LSU.

Its amazing what Saban did with LSU that a coach like Leslie could come in and win so many games. Wow. Saban

It's amazing what Fulmer did with Tenn only to see the team get ran in the ground... Wow Tennessee

Woody and Bo

Nick and Les

seems appropriate considering their B10 ties

Miles connection to Bo

Woody being the better coach in that rivalry also seems very fitting to Nick who has been phenomenal.

Both LSU and Bama were on hard times when Saban arrived
it's fascinating how people are so misinformed about lsu football history. First lsu was an excellent program prior to 2000. Second dinardo not only had some impressive seasons, he had a respectable amount of NFL talent even in 99, especially on defense.
