85: We tied for first but weren't eligible to win it because of all the shite Charlie Pell did in 82 and 83.
90: We were first but weren't eligible to win it because of Galen Hall paying child support for one of his players in 88 or 89.

Pell was gone early into the 84 season and Hall was fired during the 89 season.

I think we'll be fine considering that only Alabama has won more national title hardware.

It really blows me away to think 6 schools can take all of the SEC titles in a 50+ year span.

I mean what do any of those other schools even have to dream about at this point?
