Let em get their jollies..haha

Its funny to see folks beat their chest about ancient history while getting drummed by the "little 8"...there is a big one right now, but the ones knocking on the door aren't the laughable 5...

To the insignicant 5...Stay mediocre my friend....

Maybe so. But all it takes is learning the number "zero" for the rest of our Conference members (aka..."The Little 8").

That is the number of SEC Championships you all have won, combined, in the past.

Fine - but we don't play a 16 game regular season. MATH!

I think the next two weeks are going to tell us a lot.

Me too. Pretty big match-ups heading into October.

It's going to be a pretty entertaining month to be sure.

Is that the big 6 from 7 years ago? Certainly not the best 6 teams in conference in 2016.

By calling yourself big, you need to be relevant like bama.Otherwise putting yourself in a conversation with them is just comedy at its best... keep it up...haha

Sorry about that. I was assuming that you made it to the SEC Championship game, then made it to a playoff game, and then made it to the National Championship game.

Those are 3 extra games that all Big 6 teams strive for each year.

However, I can understand how Mississippi State, somehow, gives up very early in relation to these set goals each season.

Like I said before, maybe just try winning the SEC for once.

Then start worrying about the rest of that later.

Tennessee will be on the top of Big 6 after the 10/15 beatdown at Neyland

Alabama has won 9 in a row over UT and has won 4 of the last 7 national championships.

It's gonna take a lot more than 1 hypothetical win to "be on top"

are you ranking the "state of the program" as of this point in time for the Big 6?

you say "future expectations"

then right now, Aub is at the bottom of the list & LSU is # 3

Gators probably feel OK, but aren't sure after last year and last week

if you are ranking them as to where they stand in relation to the rest of this year - I don;t get it

no troll; but right now, Aub is at the bottom of both lists

here's why - your coach is still on a warm seat. sure, you beat LSU, but y'all outplayed them most of the game and could not score a TD

plus, they had a chance at the end

UGA - yes, we just took a major beating; but most of our fans aren't in panic mode. if we get beat like that by anyone in year 3 of Kirby; then we will be melting and worried that we made a "Tennessee/Fulmer" type mistake

we want to see what our program looks like after Kirby gets 2 full classes in (at least, the reasonable ones among us)

Auurn people are mostly very frustrated that Gus, an alleged offensive genius & QB whisperer, has struggled to get better offensive production - at least that is the feeling I get from Aubs here in Bham

I am really looking forward to that game (Alabama vs. Tennessee) for the first time in a while. I have always heard about the "hate" from that game, but never experienced it as a younger fan from another fan-base due to Tennessee being so bad in recent memory.

I know when fans are trying to save face and keep status, when there team is average. It is a way for teams to discount other teams who are playing well. It is a way to make fans of lesser teams feel better by past accomplishments. It is total and complete crap. It is 2016 and Auburn and LSU have no business being in anybody's "Big" anything

You lurk this board pre 2008?

Y'all averaged 6 losses a season from 00-07. People were saying the same shite you just said about Bama, and y'all were responding with the same shite we are.

Guess what? Y'all were right

Big 6 have been and always will be. Ups and downs come with it. You can go back 80+ years to the formation of the SEC and it's always been constant minus a decade or two of mediocrity for some members

UF is the only team to rise relatively recently from middle of the pack, and that was 25 years ago

I'll show you if you want, but you already know. You just want to seem above hard times. So if you have a couple 3-4 loss seasons post Saban it over? Alabama isn't coming back, "it's the 2020's and Alabama has no business being anybody's Big anything?"
