I hope we can avoid losing to any really shitty teams before Maymon returns at the end of December.

I see a 2nd place finish behind NC State in Puerto Rico without him.

Jarnell Stokes is a beast among men, but without Maymon, he got double and sometimes triple teamed vs. Kennesaw State.

All in all, I think we're in for another really good season, and if our guard play remains consistent, we should challenge UF and KY for the SEC Regular Season crown.

Jerrell Martin and Jordan Mickey and Tim Quarterman are the biggest gets so far.

Deng Deng and John Udoh are a couple JUCO bigs that will also be coming in.

Its a strong class, with Jerrell Martin as the jewel of it, but above just their abilities and rankings its little things like actually using all of the available scholarships and allotted coaching positions.

After being told that rebuilding a basketball program is a 5 year process for the last few years, LSU fans are excited to see a staff with this much momentum, and fast.

Florida will be a good team with solid veteran players but we lack a true star player that can carry us in tough games. Hopefully we'll have a very balanced squad that can offset that.

We will be a bubble team again. We have 4 returning starters which includes one of the best front courts in the conference. Our big weakness last year was no outside shooting. We remedied that with a JuCo all american who shot 41% from 3 last year and dropped 22 on opening night. We will be tough to beat.

We are going to be bad, but not 5 wins bad...

Will still in all likelihood be our worst or 2nd worst team in the past 25 years. Have some talent, but it is raw and very young...

Two things I'm looking for this season: Will our Basketball team win more games than our Football team? Last year they each won 11. Next is the race to cellar-dweller status. It'll be one of the most interesting conference races of this season between Miss State, Georgia, and us.

We should be at least a top 5 in the SEC, our first test will be on Wed against Badgers. We should have a deep run in the big dance.

We have one starter suspended and he should be back soon, we still dont know why he was suspended.

We're in the same boat with a starter suspended and no one really knows why. I'm really impressed with the size and athleticism of this Mizzou team but team chemistry and knowing exactly what each player's role will be may take some time to hash out.

It'll be nice if we can just be relatively competitive again. When Kentucky came here last year, the PMAC was rockin. It was awesome to see.

Martin will win more than his fair share and you guys will be in the tourney within a couple/few years. Count on it.

One of the things I like about our new SEC members is that they have good bball programs. I expect LSU to be much improved from last year, but we're just too small to do anything significant. NIT would be a legit goal. Next year is when the talent and size starts rolling in.

Spot on. JJ will have LSU top notch in 2 years. Very pumped for the future of LSU.

LSU will struggle this year but will be a pretty fun uptempo team to watch. We're crushing it on the recruiting front though so I look forward to the following year when we are going to have a very talented club.

I think we have good chemistry on this team since they played together for at least 3 years, we are just lacking a true superstar but we will do it as a group.

Actually we should be better next year since we have 2 transfers that have to sit out this years who will give us great length and athleticism. Also 2 all american from hs who will.contribute greatly

That's good.

I'm more concerned about the baseball team though.

We're good enough on paper to make the dance, but I'm too much of a pessimist to predict it.

LSU has some devoted bball fans. You have to understand how shitty brand of ball TJ trotted out.

Dude flat out sucked. What Jones has done recruiting wise in 6 months is amazing.

LSU will compete for the conference in 2 years.

Good God, you just join the conference and start this nonsense. Enjoy your win vs. Bama and stick to football.
