If I get off work in time probably. I'd like to. Haven't made a basketball game yet this season

It was hard to believe that was an AK-coached team the other day. That was pretty bad.

Frick ... who scheduled for us this year?
Two huge games this week. Gamecocks gotta split ... that means beating the Gators at our place and playing the Cats tough in Rupp.

Total of 3 games Arkansas has ever played there?
Your assistant coach, Melvin Watkins, is on a 15-game losing streak at Reed Arena, and is 2-18 overall vs. A&M since being fired.
-lost his final 8 games at Reed Arena as the A&M head coach
-lost every game at A&M as a Missouri assistant (and every game TO A&M)
-lost every game at A&M as an Arkansas assistant
The Melvin Watkins curse lasted for 25 straight games before Arkansas finally broke it at Bud Walton in 2013.

State up from the 220s in a week and a half. Winning changes things in a hurry.

Play twice this year. Fully expecting to split the series with both holding serve at home.

That is a really strange thing to keep note of

You have to understand. Melvin Watkins was a HORRIBLE coach. He makes Johnny Jones look like Red Auerbach, Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, and Greg Popovich COMBINED.
His last year at A&M, the Aggies went 0-16 in conference and he resigned rather than being fired. (This team had both Antione Wright and Acie Law on it)
He then, on the way out, famously said, "Ain't no one can win there" and went to Missouri to be an assistant coach on Quinn Snyder's staff.
It didn't stop there. After Gillispie went 21-10 the very next season, Watkins attempted to take credit for it claiming that he would have done just as well had he gotten another year.
He used that same "Ain't no one winning there" line to try to flip Donald Sloan from A&M to Missouri during the Aggies' 2005-2006 season: A&M beat Watkins and Missouri again and then made the dance for the first time in 20 years.
In the 2009-2010 season, Missouri, with Mike Anderson as head coach and Melvin Watkins still there as an assistant, was riding a 31-game home win streak when playing the Aggies in Columbia. The Tigers had an 11-point lead with 9 minutes left to go. Sure enough, the Aggies didn't panic, as they knew Melvin was on the opposing sideline. A&M won that game by 5.
During the 2011-2012 season, after Melvin Watkins left to follow Mike Anderson to Arkansas, Missouri swept A&M during the regular season.
Watkins finally beat A&M in 2013, as the 33+ year streak of A&M losing in Bud Walton overcame the 25-game Melvin Watkins Curse.
To this day, Watkins still has not won in Reed Arena since December of 2003.

Probably my most favorite player that wasn't a razorback. Dude was one of the most clutch player ever and that it is why the way he ended his career was so sad.

Had that game ended differently, we would have gone to the Final Four (would have CRUSHED Greg Odom in San Antonio) for the right to get molested by Florida in the final.

Was at that game in the Alamodome. VOLS blew a 19 point halftime lead against tOSU and lost by 1 in the second game. We had already hammered both Memphis and Florida that season, too.
Two heartbreaking losses that night.
