Do you honestly expect no other fanbase would take advantage of being 14-0 in basketball and not stir the pot for a bit on the Rant?
What if Alabama was 14-0? Or worse, Arkansas? This place would be insufferable. You're getting off easy.
Jesus. It's not like we expect to finish the season undefeated. We know we're gonna lose at some point, but just let us enjoy it while it lasts.

Didn't Auburn just beat Tennessee on Saturday?

Lsu won two pretty tough games to open with but Tamu has been having a good season. They are an impressive team so far
But they lost 5 games, some of these games were to nobodies. If one games builds a case, then where is our trophy for beating Kentucky in 2013?
One win doesn't make you a great program or erase 5 losses. Also, don't brag about beating an 8-6 Vandy team.

That Vandy win is better than any win on your resume.
Also we are 5-1 with our full starting 5 back.

they might have to win between 12-14 conference games to get in the dance.
Agree

There's only one great basketball school in this conference. I don't know where all these other perennial power houses came from. I think we will win 10-12 conference games

Your 5 losses are worse than any of our losses.

They did, indeed.

You may be 14-0 but your strength of schedule is 273. Ehh not that great. Not saying our 152 is good either but still..

Your SOS is actually #173. Your RPI ranking is 152...ours is 41. You are 1-3 against teams ranked 51-100 and 2-2 against teams ranked 101-150. We are a combined 7-0 against teams in that tier, but hey lets ignore the facts...

I have no problem with this nor do I think many folks do. Martin has done a great job of building the program at USC and there is a lot to be excited about.
Where folks lose me though is talking about USC as #1 in the SEC or as though you are a powerhouse. You have set yourselves up as a paper tiger with little margin for error. 273 SOS. 27 in RPI even though you are undefeated. Losses are going to really hurt you and the Selection Committee will may you pay for that. Doesn't mean USC isn't a really good team or have reason to be excited but you have to play someone to get respect in college basketball. I remember A&M having plenty of great OOC seasons where we played no one, did ok in conference, and then were sweating the postseason. If USC keeps winning though all will be fine.
By contrast A&M is in great shape this year having played a very aggressive OOC schedule and going 5-2 against the Top 100 with multiple resume builder wins. That will get a lot of play come Selection time and we still have Iowa State on the schedule OOC. More importantly the team is tested and ready having already played in some big games and hostile environments. Is A&M #1 in the SEC? Who knows but I think you could argue that we are playing as well as anyone and have a deep and balanced team that can beat you in many different ways.

LSU being first shows how bad the SEC is.

Lol. LSU is not first.
If anyone should be first it should be A&M but USC is top 3 for sure at this point.

USC is on borrowed time. Same goes for A&M. LSU has #1 OU later this month. Plenty of time to rebuild our case after the OOC schedule. Unlike you two, we actually played teams worth a shite.

it's too in that situation and shut up, that may be the highest we're ranked in basketball in any form this season. enjoy it.

LOLSU...like who? C of C? NC State? You've played 9 teams thus far in the Top 150 RPI...we've played 7. We haven't lost to any...you've lost to 5.
Shut your whore mouth
