Makes everyone else giggle too when they see missou has been to the tourney 26 times and has less final 4's than Miss St...

There's a difference between bad luck and just flat out sucking.

Final Fours in three different decades, over 40 NCAA tourney wins, 31 NCAA invites, over 64% all time win percentage hold more water than anything.

And yet only 2 conference titles since finally joining one with an actual blue blood program like Kentucky.

Good thing more titles was just one factor.

And yet y'all bring it up all the time with LSU.

Arkansas won its second SEC title 6 years before Florida won its second SEC title. Florida was an original member of the SEC. So, let that sink in for a moment....

You can try and discredit Arkansas all you want....it makes you look like a fool considering how weak the SEC has been over the last 10 years.

Unlike at Florida, Arkansas has had very good basketball teams throughout its programs history...which included winning conference titles in another league along the way...while also beating top OOC opponents, along with its conference foes.

Eh? You're an idiot.

And I would rank Arkansas above Florida because of the longevity of the Arkansas program and its overall win percentage passing Indiana all time this season. While Florida is some place in the .500's.

I thought LSU had a national championship in 1935, or is that disputed?

That was pre-NCAA tournament. Alabama, Missouri, and I'm pretty sure vandy also claim national titles in the 1930s like LSU does but since they were before the tournament was invented, it's unclear as to whether they actually count or not.

All I ask for is one frickin run to the final four. We have choked so hard in the tournament with really good teams.

True, but somehow it sucks even more to make it to the Final Four, lead or be in the semifinal game with a chance to go to the NCG, and THEN choke....

I still believe that if LSU had beaten UCLA in the semifinal game they would have won the championship. I don't they would have lost to Florida again.

Crazy how similar Tennessee and Bama are.

Yep...overall history-wise, Bama has the edge over UT. But all in all, they are pretty close. It is the neutral site games (SEC Tourney) that separates the two:

Overall: UA leads, 78-68
In Knoxville: UT leads, 46-22
In Tuscaloosa: UA leads, 44-18
Neutral Sites: UA leads, 12-4

ETA...forgot to update from last weekend's game.

The 1935 Campbell's Soup Poll or some nonsense that isn't even the accepted Helms standard.

Yeah, it's all just a coincidence that you made not 1, not 2, but 3 of the same similar threads first thing this morning after replying to me last night in the original one.
