Nah. Let's stay away from that dump. 4th most dangerous city in the country.

Only a matter of time before this happens.

I would be a little surprised if the moved the basebally tournament to Nashville mostly because Nashville already has the basketball tournament.

I believe there were some fan amenities added, locker room stuff, etc.

It hasn't always been in Hoover. It was held routinely on SEC campuses from 1977-1995. It wasn't "permanently" in Hoover until 1998.

It's been supported and successful there, centrally located but the stadium is a dump and would love to see it rotated around to see if it will work, if attendance suffers move it back to Hoover permanently or the new minor league stadium.

And no, I don't want to see it at Zephyr Park, that stadium has gone down to.

Cool, thanks. I've long thought it would be pretty cheap for SEC schools to add soccer teams. Most, if not all, already face the facilities in place. Basically just have to pay for the extra scholarships, insurance, coaches, and travel.

Needs to stay in Hoover since its 10 minutes from my house to Stadium Trace without having to get on 459 or 150.

The one that won't be ready on time? Good planning by Biloxi there.

Alabama should be playing their home games there too this season but I guess it is too complicated with the Barons playing there too.

UAB plays most of their home games there too.

Why would they rotate it when the SEC announced the decision to put the basketball in Nashville was hoping it leads to the same success that having Baseball in Hoover and Football in Atlanta permanently has had?

One of my biggest gripes in all of SEC athletics has been and always will be the fact that the tourney doesn't rotate locations.

There are plenty of parks (whether professional, semi-pro or collegiate) all over the conference capable of hosting the tourney. There's no reason for that shite hole in Hoover to get it every year.

Yeah. That way SEC fans can take in a ball game, and get mugged and/or shot at...all in the same day. Plenty of action!
