I'm really only surprised by MSU not having more given their history and level of support and A&M not having more for the sheer size of the student body and alumni network.

Mississippi is a state of 2.5 million people split between 3 good D1 baseball programs in State, USM and OM. Then you also have Delta State and the SWAC schools who field decent teams in their own right. I'm pretty sure our percentage is pretty high relative to our population. Also consider the fact we have never won the NCAA in baseball. Half the national recognition on twitter I'm sure stems from Vandy, Carolina and LSU's titles.

I laughed entirely too hard at this.

It's a little ironic for me, given that the only reason I signed up for Twitter was that's how A&M announces weather delays for baseball (they also post the lineup card as soon as its finalized). I think that I follow about 4 accounts.

I just looked at our football account...only 197k followers. I guess the fanbase just isn't big on Twitter for some reason.

One of several mental masturbation tools.
Kinda like message boards.

Someone give USCjr a banner to hang up, this is quite an achievement.
