Arkansas in the West
Kentucky in the East
Nolan vs Pitino
Nutt vs Paw Paw (and the Hefty Lefty 7 OT game)
Feels right to have these 2 schools at the top in baseball

And both are behind Tennessee in the national rankings.

Kentucky gets @UF and Vandy, but will have something to play for. UF their regional life and Vandy is trying to secure a host.
Tennessee gets @Vandy and UofSC. Vandy is much tougher at home and UofSC is hot after beating Kentucky and Mizzou.
Arkansas gets MSU & @A&M. I think this is the hardest reading path. MSU is playing excellent baseball and A&M is #1 in RPI.
Texas A&M gets @OM & Arky. Ole Miss is the only team left, of the remaining on the schedule, not playing for something. The Arkansas matchup means the weekend before matters a whole lot less in deciding the west.

I know you always have Arkansas on your mind so this was probably an honest mistake.

You're right. Kentucky*

Well, so far Bama has played only one of those teams with a losing record (Ole Miss) but LSU & Auburn remains. I think 13-17 gets us in with that schedule. Going 5-4 vs, Ark. TAMU and the Vols. After losing one of our starters early our pitching has been awful.

Alabama closes with LSU and Auburn.
We need to win 2 out of 3 against LSU and sweep Auburn to finish .500.
Not impossible, but it's asking a lot.

UT's to lose right now. I wouldn't want to face that line up and they have played excellent on the road.

MONSTER weekend that seals the fate of the top 3 in the west. State loses series they are out. Both in top 4 in pitching. State bats are warming up, Arky ice cold. Can State and Khal Stephen beat Hagan, or does Lemonis flip it around and give them Friday?

A&M will win out and leave the rest of you bitches in the dust.

SC finishes with UGA at home and @ Tennessee. Tough end to the season. 3-3 down the stretch would be huge.

Don't jinx us, Belle.

Eh, we finish Top 3-4 in the conference and that more than exceeds my expectations for this season after a strong run last season (that hit the buzz saw of LSU in a Super).

3-3 would clinch a host spot imo.

Dawgz have gotten progressively better as the year has went on.
Let's hope we continue that trend and stay/get hot at the right time. Offense starts and end with Hines and Jordan. Need them two to become the Tanner/Rowdy leadership for this team as we approach post season.

I’m pumped about the pitching matchups in Fayetteville this weekend. Everyone knows about Arkansas’s pitching and rightfully so, but State’s Friday and Saturday guys have been excellent in their own right.
