Hurts bama more than lsu. Bama win tonight would have put them ahead of lsu in the west standings due to tiebreaker. As it stands, lsu remains 1/2 game ahead

I dont know that freshman bama pitcher making his first start in front of 8k plus fans at Alex box was looking kinda sweet

If this happened and Bama was a half game ahead of LSU then LSU fans and the AD would be screaming bloody murder about the unfair SEC office.
A sweep against MSU is a long shot, but I think Bama hosts a regional with one given their good RPI. Anything less than that and we're a 2 seed somewhere. We swept a very good Ole Miss team so it isn't impossible.

You are right, if we played and won tonight we would have been ahead of LSU and one back of Miss St. , then if we win 2 out of 3 vs Miss St at home we would have finished in a tie with Miss St and won the tie breaker with the series win, now we have to sweep MSU to finish ahead of them and even if we win 2 of 3 LSU finishes ahead of us if the take 2 of 3 from Auburn.
That's why I said LSU got the Vudoo woman out. With a freshman pitcher starting we probably would have lost, but we really needed to play this game in a bad way.
