I disagree. It would never win a contest for nicest arena in the league by a long shot but i enjoy it and it is in pretty good shape. It does need a new scoreboard though.

The gym with all the basketball courts and pool and workout area is nice too. I loved playing there.

Yeah, it was such a tease when LSU said the PMAC was getting a new scoreboard when the other facilities got theirs. huge disappointment

It would be interesting to see if LSU could/would decrease the capacity for suites, if the demand and consistent success ever called for it

Yes, yes we can.

Which is why the court is named The Summit.

The Summit plaza is across the street from the arena and the rafters are filled with banners from their success.

No Tennessee fan will deny that the women's program has helped the men's program.

I hope it can help it even more.

Absolutely. It always amuses me when people say things that imply that Summitt and the Lady Vols are something we should be ashamed of or that their success is somehow lesser than if they were men. We are as crazy about our Lady Vols as our Vols and a lot of hard work, blood, sweat and tears went into building that but Tennessee basketball fans are often diehard fans of both teams.

I don't think anyone said anything bad about the Lady Volunteers.
