Yes and yes.

Yes and yes.

But what's your point?

SC is not going after the HCs at MSU or UK ... it would be beneath us to do so and I don't mean that as an insult to either program but you may want to check the value of those two football programs, in sheer revenue, compared to USCe.

With regard to the two assistant jobs, of course, it would be a HC job in the SEC so the answer is yes to both of those ... a no brainer.

But SC will go after a proven head coach ... unless it is Durkin at Michigan.

You have Clemson, it's not like South Carolina is alone in the state.

We can still use the "We are in the SEC" tactic. MSU cannot.

They haven't beaten us since 1999.

Since then we've hired Lou Holtz and Steve Spurrier. They've hired...

clemson can use the we have a top 10 team tactic though.

I am not saying usc sucks. The football programs at msu and usc are around the same at the moment.

When was the last time MSU finished Top 5 in the country?

Top 10 in the country?

Hell, Top 15 in the country?

And we had a Top 5 team 2 years ago

More kids want to play in the SEC. Are you refuting this?

So your concept of having "delivered" in the sense that it will attract top rated coaches is beating MSU in the last 4 meetings?

Interesting.

What Dan did at the Cow College is impressive. He had been a OC for a natty SEC team. He is a want. Talks have begun. Why do you think OBC resigned mid-season?

I'd say MSU is in a better place right now.

But SC has the facilities ... even though y'all's upgrades are beautiful, it's two different worlds.

Two entirely different revenue streams for the football programs ... a difference of about $30 million a year.

If you don't win a National Championship or the SEC, then it's all about where you finished.

In that regard, we've been much better than MSU over the past several years, aside from last year.

Even then - our facilities, our earnings, and our recruiting reach are all above MSU.

Not to take away what Dan Mullen has done, because it's been impressive. But we're not interested in him.

Getting State #1 in the polls is worth something. Has USCe ever done that?
