More just straight up hippie. Not designer enough for the modern hipster, at least in my neck of the woods.

The greatest thing about that admittedly unscientific poll is that elitist Texas fans look like morons trying to justify why the SEC is unworthy of them academically. They are a clear #1 academically in the Big 12 but are arguably only 3rd academically in the SEC behind Vandy and Florida and only slightly ahead of A&M and UGA.

This can be easily explained by the fact that it isn't freeze your balls off cold outside down here 75% of the year so we can go outside and do things as opposed to sit inside and worry about what a magazine thinks of our university.

I'd agree, except our idiotic strategy seems to be the biggest "meh" university we can be. Degree dilution has become a thing, and it annoys the crap out of me.

I agree. We need less kids, not more.

Auburn University 103 91 89 82 85

Just like in football there is a Big 1 and then a "next" group.
Nobody is in Vanderbilt's league.

I should've rephrased and included Texas A&M in the Big 3 then... Considering Vandy is private and all.

The Mississippi schools being nothing but glorified high schools is understandable and not a surprise,

Very Good Public Tier 2 - Florida, Georgia, Texas A&M

In all fairness, those two Magnolia State schools are bringing down the average of all those fine institutions in the top 129....

This is true of all colleges except the truly elite.
If you show up to class and can't graduate from the vast majority of state universities (extenuating circumstances notwithstanding) with some type of degree, you're an idiot.
