A lot of misinformation it seems from this topic mostly from institutions picking the numbers that look best for them. Multiyear is what is looked at for post-season bans, but it can get trumped by 2 year average. It looks like certain sources are choosing the number that makes their team look best. Basically proving that there are three types of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics.

Read your link..

1.) There is no average 2012-13 score across all sports listed in that article.
2.) They conveniently left off the football score from 2012-13.. Wonder why..

Yeah I saw two comparisons, where the compared the single year for one year to the multi for the next. Just to make it appear better. Yet they didn't state they were comparing two different scores.

Meh. I wouldn't put much stock into that. It happens when you have a lot of transfers and such. It'll get better now that things have settled down.

Yeah I'm not real shocked by that either between what Joker recruited and what left/had to go. As long as they're all in the clear for now it's all good.

That perfect basketball score probably pisses some people off though.
