The 75th anniversary All-SEC team came out in 2008. Can't find it on Google anywhere for some reason. There was only a first-team and no second and third teams. In the last 15 years, who would have the best shot to be on the SEC 100th Anniversary All-SEC team and replace one of the guys on the 75th anniversary team. It's obviously highly subjective but I've got three...

– Tyrann Mathieu
– Devontae Smith
– Brock Bowers

I don't see how Devonta Smith isn't on there.

Could make a case for:

Nick Chubb since he's #2 on the all time rushing list

Devonta Smith is now the all time receiving leader

Some of these names are untouchable and part of the fabric of this great conference of ours.

I'd put Gurley over Chubb. Gurley missed a bunch of his 3rd year due to suspension and then a torn ACL. Then said frick it, going to NFL. What Gurley did in the equivalent of 2.5 seasons was incredible. But if Chubb went in Gurley's place, that wouldn't make me mad. I love me some Chubb (no homo). Both were better than Leonard Fornette.

We all agree that Derrick Henry is the greatest running back in SEC history so what running back gets paired with him? Herschel, Bo, DMC?

Nice find! And on another note, I'm pretty sure that 2023 Vanderbilt would kick the shite out of the 50th Anniversary team lol.

I misread OP. I thought he was asking who'd be all sec from the last 15 years, I missed the part about replacing someone already on the list. I don't think that's fair. Football is so different now.

As much as I hate it since he's one of my favorite players of all time, he'll never be selected to an official SEC anniversary team after being kicked off the team.

Based on the way the game has changed, I wouldn’t be shocked if all the QB and TE/WR positions change
