Anyone who has been to the last three games realizes a change HAD to be made. If we get AVERAGE QB play, we dominate UL and JSU. LSU was just better than us.
I am looking forward to seeing if this guys gives us a chance.... If not we are totally and royally screwed...

Christ Todd couldn't throw a football through a wet paper bag. Gus somehow managed to break all kinds of team records with him.

Todd was OK, given his physical limitations. Broke a bunch of Auburn passing records in 2009.

Thats right.
I remember legitimately feeling like Uncle Rico watching some of his throws that year.
But yea a shite ton of screen passes and quick outs turned into a lot of stats.

In 2008? Sure. He had also just come off of shoulder surgery and everyone was awful that year. In 2009 he broke a bunch of Auburn passing records and helped that team greatly overachieve. Had some bad games, but if we had Todd at QB right now, we would have destroyed UL and JSU, and LSU would have been a much more competitive game.

I watched a replay of the game. It was the first time I saw the whole game as I was in Antigua on vacation. I thought Auburn moved the ball well at times and with better QB play would have been competitive. Your defense simply got gassed and couldn't tackle well.
