Regarding the Gods:

We lost to Colorado on a fifth down in 1990 that resulted in the Buffs sharing a national title. Like, the umps literally forgot to turn the down marker and gave them five downs, and they scored the game winner on the fifth.

We lost to Nebraska in 1997 which resulted in the Huskers winning the national title. Lost on a last second play in which a Nub player lying flat on his back in the endzone bicycle kicked the ball back up into the air and another Husker made a diving catch for it.

We lost to UCLA in the 1995 NCAA basketball tournament that resulted in the Bruins going on to win the national title, after a UCLA player made a mad 4.8 second dash across the length of the court to hit a layup at the buzzer for a one point win over us.

The sporting Gods have most definitely not been on our side historically. However, for a team looking to continue a string of miracle finishes en route to a national title such as yours, history would suggest that you could not possibly have a more ideal opponent.

Franklin is 100%

Not sure about this. I'd guess he's 80-85% right now.

Mizzou secondary can struggle at times. Lot of missed tackles I the A&M game. Defense is all about sacking the qb which hurts screen plays. But very opportunistic. 42 straight games with a forced turnover. I believe plus 17 on turnover margin. Golden is another DE to watch out for. Very athletic. As a unit much better than they were at the start of the year.

Franklin looks 100% to me. He can make any throw but he also misses some he should probably make. Mizzou has been great with not turning the ball over. Everyone knows about the wideouts but the running backs play as big a roll. Any three of Josey, Murphy, or Hansbrough can score from anywhere. Don't use the backs or tightends in the passing game much, mostly as blockers. Offensive line has been a very pleasant surprise. Very much improved.

If it comes to mizzou needing to make a field goal to win, congrats on winning the game lol

Very solid, to very good in all phases. Only weakness is field goal kicking.

We can win a high scoring game, or a low scoring game. Very good on both lines. Senior leader at QB. Lots of talent at skill positions. DEEP, relentless pass rush.

For some reason we played our B- game against aTm. Franklin missed two wide open TD passes, and we didn't tackle as well as we normally do. Think we played pretty tight in the first half.

Expect a great game. Should be really close.

Our run defense is better than pass, but that's also a little skewed because teams throw a lot against us due to being behind and playing catch-up. Until yesterday, when we beat A&M by 7, our smallest margin of victory all season had been 14.

Our DL isn't the biggest in the SEC, but not the smallest either. What they may lack in bulk they make up in speed and agility. You've heard of Sam, but if you try to double up on him, there's Ealy, Ray and Golden to worry about. The DEs are all good. You also have to worry about Bonner and Wilson coming up too. Between those guys, our run D is good. However, your style is a little different, and you gashed Bama by rushing sideline to sideline - that opened the middle for huge chunks of yards. That could cause a problem for us.

On offense, as has been said, we're very balanced. We have 3 good RBs who are almost interchangeable, and the WRs create mismatches with their size and speed. Washington, Lucas, DGB, Hunt, Sasser, White, etc...I think the shortest one is 6'3". They do a very good job. Franklin is 100%. The untold story there is the OL. They've been a strength for the team this year, and have great chemistry. It's a good unit.

Franklin does not look 100% and that's why we appeared to struggle in additon to our OL not looking v ATM as good as it has been. Our Dbacks are average except for Gaines who is pretty good.

If Franklin does play up to his potential, our passing game can be very very good. He was throwing a lot of passes high v ATM, which is what he did a lot of last year while he was not at full power.
