DeBoer - bring the man back as our S&C coordinator!

I hope Scott gets his issues in life worked out. At his age and experience, I think he still has a lot to offer a program.

At Georgia, Cochran served as an on-field assistant before Smart announced in August of 2021 that he was stepping away from the program to “prioritize his mental health and well-being.”
Maybe he's just taking some time off to go to a motherfricking funeral.

I thought he was responsible for all the ACL tears due to the way he trains the players? At least that was the consensus years ago from Bama fans

Cochrans record vs Alabama is almost as bad as Kirby’s.

If all the rumors are true, hopefully he saved up enough money to live comfortably while he gets his life together

Lol this guy is like most Bama fans right now. Very obsessed with UGA, and they know that the dynasty is just starting and they don't know how to handle it.

What are the rumors? I always liked Cochran. Had a few interactions with him at the restaurant I worked at in Tuscaloosa when I was in school. Always super cool and nice.

I think dude has an addiction problem…booze, narcotics, something. I’ve seen it up close and personal. It has taken down lots of talented, successful people. Hoping he can beat it.

I'm withholding comment because I don't know his (real-life) situation, but FWIW he has posted something like this previously:

Georgia announces Scott Cochran, Darrell Dickey resigned to pursue other opportunities
After reports surfaced earlier on Wednesday, the Georgia Bulldogs have announced special teams coordinator Scott Cochran and offensive analyst Darrel Dickey are no longer with the program.
According to a press release, the duo resigned to pursue other opportunities, and won’t be members of the Georgia football program any longer.
“Special teams coordinator Scott Cochran and offensive analyst Darrel Dickey have resigned to pursue other opportunities, the team announced Wednesday,” a press release read, shared to X (formerly known as Twitter) by Seth Emerson of The Athletic. “Kirk Benedict, who served on Kirby Smart’s staff as special teams analyst the last two seasons, will be promoted to special teams coordinator.”
