Sssshhhhhh. There are pockets of the South that apparently never got the memo that baseball is essentially dead. They also pretend WBB or gymnastics doesn’t exist at many of their own schools.

It makes sense for you to think baseball is dead if that’s the opinion of the Midwest, since Missouri is not a southern state.

and this is one of many reasons why you don't belong.. and also why I would trade your sorry arse for Kansas without thinking.. at least they have value in a sport that matters..

Kansas

Kansas baseball attendance is 700 which is still higher than the D1 median. Mizzou is 1100. Mizzou is about half of Kentucky which is the second lowest in the SEC now (OU is closer to Mizzou and will take that spot next year). If Mizzou were in the B1G 20, we’d have the number three or four baseball attendance. I can go on and on.

Too short of a sample size. Should do 1940

LSU has had the largest baseball crowds in the NCAA for 14 of the last 15 years or give or take. LSU gymnastics has bigger crowds and WBB is tied or ahead at this point.
Baseball hasn’t been “America’s favorite sport” since 1960 and was already at third ten years later.
The data only gets worse from there. Americans under thirty now barely put baseball in their top ten. There is no good data for American’s under twenty, but you can imagine where the trend is going.
MLB game attendance fell below Japan league two years ago which is completely logical because Japan has the most elderly population on the planet.

Lot of jibber jabber there and no actual context. Baseball is the number two revenue generating sport in America. You can twist numbers all you want to create a story but money talks.

I know you guys look for any reason to take a shot at a&m, but they tried their very best against Houston in basketball yesterday. Where is that list?

I know what the trend is for young Americans and it ain't good. Girls with pink hair that lose to junior high school boys are more popular than the Beatles. Congrat's

I get the SEC likes baseball but it’s not big 3.

Football
Men’s basketball
Women’s basketball

Large gap after that

Downvote all you want but the numbers are there.
