Didn't get up early to see it. Don't remember the penalty. 2010 Iron Bowl on now.

Yeah 2013 had a lot of innovation, but during this Bama game, this is some old school, veer football. Fun to watch.

2013 was Newton. I think we all know that. He was such a freak, it just blew every defense we played up.

But in 2013, it was a machine. You pretty much knew what play we were going to run but for the most part, you couldnt stop it. LSU was the only team that really did and we just got too far behind too quick.

It was fun to watch in 2013.

Nick knew he wouldn't win in Overtime. Reason he went for long field goal

Kicker had already missed 3 FG's earlier in game.

Adam Griffith was the one who kicked that "Kick 6" FG. He had made a 60 yarder in practice that year according to Saban and he felt confident he could make it. I think that was his first FG try of the game. I'm thinking we had another kicker in the game earlier.

Then CBS' graphics team dropped the ball as they showed a graphic of him missing 3 kicks earlier in the game, right before the final play.

I may be wrong. I haven't watched that game since it happened. But that's how I thought it went.

Upon further review you are right. Foster missed the first 3 kicks. Griffith missed the last one. So someone in CBS's truck botched that.

Ok thanks for letting me know. I remembered Griffith coming into the game for the first time and was like "Who is that?" Lol and the rest is history....sad, terrible history.....:tears:

I get Mississippi St. is no blue blood, but someone still out to be able to find better programming than this. They made the Final Four in 1996. Show some of their games from that season. Do not care about a spring game, coaches interviews, and women's basketball.

Ole Miss is getting shafted on their Takeover day. Wtf is this "Season" series? They're airing this all day, no football, baseball, or basketball games

The Season is something Ole Miss does for a lot of sports, I think A&M does something similar called the pulse. The season isn't bad but as for putting it on the entire takeover day is terrible. I'm pretty sure we have the worst takeover day.

Yeah there's plenty of content they could've put for you guys but this is a bit unfortunate. Overall this Takeover thing hasn't been that good this year.

And he was right. That's why the kick-6 didn't bother me.

Bama had 0 chance in OT.

Cade was the one who missed 3 that game. Griffith was brought in for the last kick, and we all know how that ended.

Cade was a fricking linebacker trying to kick FGs. Crazy the amount hype he had coming out of HS too

It was more than that.

I did the numbers a while back. I'm not going to look them up again, but going by memory during his career in games Bama won by more than 7 points, Foster made roughly 75% of his kicks.

In games Bama lost or won by less than 7, he was under 20% (2-9 IIRC).

When it didn't matter, he was pretty much money. When it did, he was guaranteed to come apart. He was the textbook definition of a head case.

I hate it too. They did have 2001 Ole Miss/LSU on last night. Mississippi St. takeover was really bad.
