Yeah, I would have thought so to. As someone else mentioned, I'd rather watch this than SEC Now over and over.
Texas A&M's thrilling 1998 conference title game upset win on next. I'm looking forward to whatever gamw was 1978 LSU/Missouri. Is SEC Network only allowed to show replays of old games that ESPN/ABC carried?

I don't think so, the LSU Miami CWS championship is on for us and that was a CBS broadcast
Looking through the schedules man, some of ya'll got NOTHING to show
, including the 1978 Sun Bowl for Mizzou I am gonna check it out though even though LSU lost...but the Sun bowl? really?
and oh poor MSU they got nothing either :lol:

LSU was ranked like #7 and just got ambushed. Never recovered from the opening kickoff return for a TD. Season was the beginning of the dark days for LSU football. Archer was gone after 89 then ugh Hallman put us deeper in a hole

I wasn't even alive in 1978, so I would enjoy watching older game and players I haven't seen before. And there weren't 40 bowl games back then, so I didn't think the Sun Bowl was such a disgrace. At least they aren't showing gymnastics instead.

Both teams played one another like 40 times before that year. I did not realize you played them out of conference that much. What year did you hire DiNardo?

yeah the Sun Bowl was a good bowl in 78, wasn't that. Just never ever seen a full version of that game just thought it was funny they pulled that one out
yeah the Miami game is a true classic. Never seen the full game replay on that one either so honestly can't wait for it
Dinardo was hired for the 1995 season. He did some very good and important things at LSU. I for one will forever be grateful for the job he did, hell he won 10 games twice here iirc. Just made some real bad hires those last two seasons and boom he gone

Texas A&M takeover is hilarious! Watching Swimming and all they talked about was UGA and UT even when A&M was pulling away for the Championship. They even had a Sip announcer who didn't even acknowledge that A&M was in the SEC.
The Basketball game was just a discussion of which UK players were going pro. Didn't even realize there was an opponent on the court. Same with the announcers discussing the A&M vs. UF Volleyball game.

Who is picking these games that are being aired? Wouldn't Kentucky fans rather watch their 1996, 1998, or 2012 title game wins over some early season blowout hoops win over UCLA that was a complete joke 10 minutes into the game?

some of the selections are head scratchers. Im not talking about women's sports cause that's just them being PC. but that UCLA game was horrid
and of course oh frick the G-Damn 33pt comeback, only show it every fricking week, nice job SEC Network...

They are going to show the 2012 National Championship Game.
And I don't mind the UCLA game. That was one of the more dominant arse kickings we've issued in awhile and they're still a blue-blood.

They had school takeovers last year too. They can't just show the same games every year. Some great ones they showed last year (original blackout, 07 florida, etc) aren't being shown this year, which is a good thing IMO. Nice to mix it up.

At some point they ought to show your 1998 Elite 8 comeback win over Duke. I know Apex or whomever made your uniforms back then is long gone, but your 1994 and 1995 hoops uniforms kicked arse. I also loved the awesome "cat" logo your TV network was using on the 1997 win over Alabama.

I'm looking forward to the UNC one coming up in a couple hours. They had really owned our asses for a few years in the OOC and that win with Wall and Co. was huge. It also has some personal significance for me.
I think part of what they show probably has to do with TV contracts. What I wish they'd show more often:
- Jodie Meeks vs. Tennessee.
- The last UK win vs Florida in FB. Yes, TV existed.
- The '78 National Championship
- Some old games under Rupp, even if it was just a documentary.
- An SEC 30 for 30 on the UK FB players who integrated the SEC.

I was pulling for you in 1995 when they took you out in the Elite 8. When was the last time you beat Florida in football? 2007 win over LSU was big as well. What other big wins did you have with Couch and Mumme? Some women's basketball on now, so I am out.

No I know they had it last yr. I'd love to see the bluegrass miracle one year, they haven't show it during this promotion.
I'd like to see some old old games like 72 vs ole miss ( Bert Jones two passes in 4 seconds) not just for lsu but everyone. A Hershel game or the punt bama punt etc...
