This defense?

The nobody in the middle defense?

The 3-2-3 defense?

He runs a multiple defense, very similar to Saban. He prefers to run 4-3 schemes out of 3-4 personnel, as well as traditional 3 down fronts. But like any good coach, he'll adapt his scheme accordingly to fit the talent he has.

What?

If anything it's more like a 3-3-5 out of a Nickel scheme (He always uses 5 DBs) and has a DE playing a standup linebacker.

I'm just saying he likes to use a hybrid player like Dante Fowler who can stand up like a traditional linebacker, or put his hand in the dirt and rush the passer. Essentially, a multiple 3 down defense that can transform into a 4 down front.

No, the 38-20 defense was the one I was referring to. Thanks for trying

He ran that primarily at UF, but when he was at Auburn it was primarily 4-3. He adapts to what he has

This season he had an inexperienced secondary and a deep front 7 and still ran the nickel.

It's the kind that Bama sets a all time record on in total yards.
