No one outside of Missouri would want Kansas over Texas.

Although Kansas basketball outweighs Texas basketball in traditional, it's not like Texas has been void. Kevin Durant comes to mind.

But in the important area, football, it's not even remotely close.

The correct answer is neither. But the melt that would occur if kansas was admitted would break the Internet, not just tRant.

Yeah, even the kansas crowd would hate this. They would be in a conference with nothing but "slavers".

Exactly. There would be so much fun. But it would never happen. They simply don't bring enough to the table - they would cost more than they would add.

I would make Jesus' Biblical rampage in the temple look like a a walk in the park if the beakers were added.

I see it didn't take you long in western Missouri to develop a true appreciation for the nature of the beaker in it's natural habitat.

They are a truly wretched lot, inhabiting a state that is an apalling dung heap overflowing with the most disgraceful assortment of rubbish imaginable.

My skin crawls if I venture too close to the state line

Texas, just so the Big 6 can laugh at their attempts to get their way and then make them feel like the little bitches that they are.

or....

Kansas, so Missouri will have a special little flyover state friend to help them deal with the fact that nobody else likes them.

It's a tough choice.

The sec chose the right schools to add. Mizzou has already played for the title and the aggies will do it soon too.

1. Adding Texas would essentially wrap up all of the Texas TV market. Adding Oklahoma would add the Oklahoma City and Tulsa TV market. 2. The SEC can move Alabama and Auburn to the East and put Texas and Oklahoma in the West. The two divisions would be nearly equitable and it would preserve all Bama-Auburn, Auburn-Georgia, and Bama-Tenn rivalries. 3. The SEC could go to a 9 game conference schedule (7 from the respective division and 2 rotating from the other division). This will allow teams from other divisions to play each other more often.

That is what I would want. And have the SEC championship game rotate from Atlanta to Jerry World every other year.

Kansas and it's not even close. Those who underestimate the damage Texas can/will do are naive, but our SEC Presidents seem to understand it and I doubt they'll ever agree to let Texas join.

Just kiddin, we love you Mizzou, your starting to grow on us.

I do not want Texass and their huge LHN contract with no shared revenue. And Texass, with that network, would never want INTO the SEC nor would we ever consider them.

Kansas.

Raises basketball profile while giving the division it joins a free win each year.

Georgia Southern. Or maybe UTSA. Hell if we all pitched in and bought Grambling uniforms and made them a member instead of Texas I'd be all for it.

Texas is a conference killer. Bama might act like arrogant douchebags... heck they might be arrogant douchebags... but at the end of the day they treat every other university in the conference as equals. I'd rather add the University of Alaska Anchorage and go up there for road games.

Texas or Kansas?

Texas is the most unlikely team to ever join the SEC. They would go independent before they would ever join the SEC. No upside for them whatsoever.
