If this turns out to be the scenario, LSU would owe Auburn for helping Les Miles get fired.

Alabama would probably be in the best shape, considering they would need a win at home, and then the home team in the LSU/aTm game to win.

No matter what, either Auburn or Alabama would be eliminated from contention before their game Saturday. That team would simply be playing spoiler for their biggest rival.

I think if this scenario plays out, and LSU ends up beating aTm, it's likely I'll be in Tuscaloosa on Saturday cheering on the Tide.

This is impossible. AU already has a loss to A&M. If AU wins out, that means Bama would lose to us. If LSU wins out, which already has one loss to (AU) , that means Bama would have loss #2. The loser of the A&M/LSU game would have 2 losses as well. Not possible sir

Either Bama or Auburn would have 2 losses idiot. And you know it. You are trying to reword it to save face.

Can't happen if you think real hard.

Absolutely it can.

If four teams are 6-1 going into the final week, the West standings look like this:

Alabama 6-1, 10-1
Auburn 6-1, 9-2
LSU 6-1, 9-2
Texas A&M 6-1, 10-1
Arkansas 3-4, 7-4
Ole Miss 2-5, 5-6
Mississippi State 0-7, 3-8

You'd then get the following scenarios:

Alabama wins, LSU wins: LSU wins the west
Alabama wins, A&M wins: Alabama wins the west
Auburn wins, LSU wins: Auburn wins the west
Auburn wins, A&M wins: A&M wins the west

Either you can't read, or you are a moron.

The OP has not been edited. It is there for everyone to see and decipher. We play 8 conference games. The scenario I've presented would occur after 7 conference games have been played.

Pretty easy stuff.
