Different point of view
Different opinions matter, but one thing for sure she'll be rocking Saturday night.

LSU had beaten MSU 14 straight prior to this year and Bama had beaten Ole Miss 10 straight....What's your point?

Bama will crush them.

No way to put a pretty picture on that. But since 1982 its become a pretty good one.

Is this supposed to be a revelation or something? Bama has the most prestigious and long standing success record in college football. LSU had many periods of not being very good. Certainly relative to Bama. This is not news to anyone.
None of that is relevant to this game though and the impact of LSU's home field advantage on it. For big time games it is an elite atmosphere in college football.

Alabama has a higher winning percentage in Tiger Stadium than LSU

I mean media have over hyped TS for years. Its no louder than any other Big 6 stadium.
They are all pretty damn loud during the big games, but Bo Wallace disagrees. Bear Bryant disagreed too - still won there though all the time (but he didn't seem to enjoy the process too much).
Bama's record in Tiger Stadium makes LSU's winning record at Bryant-Denny seem even stranger. You'd think Bama would hold the lead there too considering their dominance in the W column in Tiger Stadium.

I like how Scarbinsky argues that Alabama isn't scared of Death Valley at night, and to prove that, he uses a W/L statistic that Alabama has acquired over the past 50+ years in Day and Night games. Maybe an apples to apples comparison that included only Night games in TS would be more relevant to his arguement.
What I would like from the LSU side is some empirical data to support the assumption that playing at night is more difficult than playing during the day. Is there some property of physics relative to sound waves that makes a decible count rise in the absence of light? Does anyone in their right minds think that LSU fans are actually more sober during the day? So where is the data?

Look at LSU's records in day vs night games at home

No louder? While you pull your pom Pom out and shake it like a prepubescent girl, making less noise than a baby rattle. LSU fans are stomping, shouting, and shaking TS to its core.
No louder? Please.
Sorry its not. Loudest stadium I've ever experience was BHG a few years ago. Been to Tiger Stadium 4 times and it gets loud but its nothing special.

Which proves absolutely nothing. LSU has never played La. Lafayette in the 2:30 CBS game.

So why do you suppose it has the reputation as being the toughest venue in all of college football?
It comes out on top of B-D in every single list.

In reality, I don't think that most Bama fans would argue that Tiger Stadium isn't a tough place for most teams to play.
The reality, however, is that it isn't such a tough place for Bama to play. And that's all we really care about. And why is that? Better players than your other opponents? Better coaching and preparation? Who knows? Who cares?

Really? What years did you play for Alabama to know how hard it is or isn't to get that win in Tiger Stadium?
You think the players thought that win in 2012 was easy? You think Bear sneaking out with his #1 ranking, winning 3-0 against a 3-loss LSU team in 1979 was easy?
Just because Alabama wins doesn't mean it was easy. Give your team more credit, they get it done IN SPITE of how hard it is to get a win in Tiger Stadium.
