Did you find something from UGA that impressed you?

Besides Gurley of course

How were you not impress? UNC averaged 40 pts a game the last 3 years and only had 10 on a Thursday. We quit trying after up 17-0 in 95 degrees heat...

The last 4 games played at Sanford between UGA and USC were won by 3, 4, 4, and 2 points. This Saturday's game may end up being another back-and-forth donnybrook. UGA still has a powerful running game and USC's LBs - while looking fairly impressive vs UNC - are still a work in progress, and UNC's run game ain't like UGA's.

Still, we should probably stop saying that UGA will come out strong because of the 3-game losing streak. The losing streak should have little to do with anything at this stage, IMO. UGA was averaging 50 pts per gm last year heading into Williams-Brice, and they were supposed to avenge the 2-game losing streak to USC. I think UGA just wants to win now for the purpose of actually winning....

USC wins this. The two extra days of prep are a big factor. We practiced for uga yesterday, and I believe we practiced today as well. Uga left it all out on the field on Saturday, and didn't hold anything back, b/c they were playing from behind for most of the game. They just lost their best receiver. Their RB/FB got banged up and it was obvious the team had conditioning issues.

Cocks will win this by 2 scores and win the 3rd of the last 4 matchups in Athens.

After watching Clowney I wouldn't talk about anybody else's conditioning issues. Getting josh harvey Clemons back should help the young uga d. I think Connor normon was responsible for 3 touchdowns on Saturday night

I'm about as careful as they come when it comes to predicting games ... one game at a time is the truth of the matter and you just can never tell.

But I do like SC's chances this weekend given all the factors to take into consideration.

SCAR now believes we are supposed to beat UGA every year. UGA has doubts.

The HBC has been very successful against UGA over the decades.

SCAR has had a couple of extra days to rest and prepare.

Clowney is going to be out and loaded for bear. Our entire DLine is going to be out to make a statement as a matter of fact - they are a very cohesive, determined, experienced bunch.

There are 25 Georgia HS players on the SC roster not the least of which are the likes of Shaw and Davis ... and they'll have their own personal motivations in this game.

There are seniors on this team who want to be the first to say they have never lost to Georgia in their SCAR playing years ... and some RJrs and Jrs who will be leaving early.

I believe the way UGA lost to the taters will do some degree of damage to the Dawg's psyche ... to their confidence. And they are going to realize early that they just jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire.

All factors that make me believe SCAR's chances are very good.

With that said, the Vegas people know their business and it worries me that they have UGA as a -5 fav. It's either bait, on a wicked hook, or they honestly believe UGA is just a better team than SCAR this year ... which doesn't quite make sense to me.

Damn! When I saw SCAR in the title I thought this was a thread about FN Herstal.

How vital was Malcolm Mitchell to UGA's offense? Wasn't he their best/most consistent receiver?

SCAR, if you think otherwise you must be crazy. Clowney and Sutton are going to frick up the back field. I think SCAR will own the line of scrimmage similar to Clemson and pull away early in the 4th.

I'm more perplexed than worried. I understand home field advantage and that they went down to the wire with a top 10 team on the road but if you had asked me last night which team opens as a 5 point favorite I'd have said USC.

I'm expecting the spread to shrink some before kickoff on Saturday.

Pretty sure he returned the most receiving yards from last year's UGA squad

Clemson with Boyd and Sammy Watkins is a damn tough team to beat at home.
Wasn't too difficult for us last year.

Pretty sure Sammy Dropkins has more drops than catches against USC in his career.

UGA will beat the Gamecocks in Athens as their season is now on the line given the loss to Clemcadiddlehopper! As a result, LSU-UGA will be one he'll of a contest at the end of this month. Mett will have a big target on his back, but after his performance against the Toads last night, and with some more Coach Cam coaching, Bayou Bengals to prevail and be on their way to Tuscalooser to whip up on the Crimson.
