We haven't been to the tourney since 2004, but it's supposed to hurt meto say that South Carolina will lose in the first 1-2 rounds?

This year is gonna be like the year that the above average UCONN team won the title a few years ago. It's a bad year for college basketball because there isn't really a major story like Duke or Kentucky so all bets are off. No one is seperating themselves too much but the tournament should be good for those very reasons.

The Cocks do not have any elite players, but they are fun to watch. It is refreshing to actually see some upperclassmen in college basketball. They play great team basketball, and the coaching is well above average. They could be poised for a nice tournament run -- depends on the seeding and draw.

Because our coaches are mediocre and the majority of high end talent in the south goes to the ACC. That combined with HS basketball in the SE seriously lacking fundamentals and you get bad basketball.

I can see UK making the Elite 8 with our guard play. Right now, Ulis and Murray are on fire.
