They would be granted release in that scenario, at the least the ones not on campus yet for sure.

If even just Mickey comes back, I have a very hard time JJ can coach a team that talented to anything less than like 13-5 in the SEC, I mean we are currently looking at:
Mickey
Simmons
Quarterman
Blakeney
Patterson
With Gray, Hornsby, Victor, Robinson III, Malone, Epps and Bridgewater off the bench...if we somehow added Malik Newman, i mean holy shite
That is an experienced, talented and deep team. We havent seen that at LSU since like...the final four run

In A&M's defense, Alabama's consistently been a more dangerous team than Auburn or Mizzou.
That said, they're missing 2 of their top players so there was no excuse for A&M to lose to them at home with so much on the line.
I think A&M needs a big win in the SEC tourney after this or will very likely get bumped in the final shuffle.
