"I look forward to learning more about the factors that led the Big Ten and Pac-12 leadership to take these actions today. I remain comfortable with the thorough and deliberate approach that the SEC and our 14 members are taking to support a healthy environment for our student-athletes. We will continue to further refine our policies and protocols for a safe return to sports as we monitor developments around COVID-19 in a continued effort to support, educate and care for our student-athletes every day.”

I think he’ll play the wait and see game like he said he would. At this point, why not?

Knowing Greg, he’s going to add Ohio State and Oregon to our schedule.

I see it the other way, if he was going to cave, he would have done so today after everyone else quit.

If some kids really sick or god forbid does the sec will get sued through the anus especially with other conferences shut down

Just be prepared for that.

You can not prove where you got it, it is an Act of God - not liable

If it was like HIV and you could prove it, another story

I hear you and completely agree but I’m telling you that won’t matter. The sec will get sued and it will be massive

That’s what all these dudes care about. Lawsuits. Period. This wouldn’t be canceled if they knew they wouldn’t be sued for anything

Posted the same on an OM board, several attorneys responded that they expected tons of worker's comp lawsuits, have been approached, but the inability to prove where you got Covid made it a non-starter

Think about all of these meat processing plants, no lawsuits have occurred yet that I'm aware of and those guys are on top of one another
