You can't get rid of the TSiO, then UT would be begging for a rival like LSU.

The numbers are already pretty tenuous. Adding two more members will make it logistically difficult and probably bust the coalition for POs. Just the facts.

Sounds like someone wants to stop playing UF annually.

The national one or the SEC one? I purposely did the SEC that way. I just did the national one geographically

NCAA SHOULD AMEND THE REQUIREMENT OF CONF CHAMPIONSHIPS REQUIRING DIVISIONS...

AND CHANGE SO THAT ALL FOOTBALL CONFERENCES MUST BE A MIN OF 10 TEAMS, AND ALL LEAGUES MUST PLAY 9 CONF GAMES WITH THE 2 BEST RECORDS PLAYING THE FIRST THUR - SAT FOLLOWING THE REGULAR SEASON ENDING.

---EACH CONF COULD THEN REGULATE HOW MANY TRADITIONAL RIVALRIES WOULD BE KEPT..

UGA - AU & UF
UA - AU & UT
UF - UGA & ???

ETC ETC

Well congrats on your cupcake schedule that landed you in Atlanta two years in a row even after South Carolina has spanked that arse.

No Bama, no LSU, no Arky/A&M = winning the schedule lottery and undeservedly making Atlanta two years in a row.

The thing is, the schedule now is random and we got "lucky" to get teams on down years. We weren't bitching 3 years ago when we played Bama and LSU in the same year.

LSU fans want to be in a division where they are the only power.

Actually, in the BCS era, 7 National Championships were won by WEST conference teams, 6 by EAST conference teams, and 1 by a team left out of the two conferences (Auburn)

Furthermore, in East West matchups, the conferences are split, each having 2 wins and 2 losses

that's the thing, it isn't

the last two years have been "temporary" schedules that they could have scheduled however they wanted

Georiga and Alabama were supposed to play this year and it magically got swapped to Missouri...fine, guess they just pushed it back a year. Wrong, now its LSU vs Georgia and Alabama vs Kentucky

But if you want to call it "luck" and "random", then fine...but LSU got screwed and Alabama got really "lucky" with these two random schedules. I don't think its a conspiracy or anything, but it's still bullshite and everyone knows it.

Actually, I'd be in favor of this. I'd rather be with other traditional SEC schools than the Miss schools and

I mean, the miss schools were original members. Doesn't get much more traditional than that. Traditional powerhouses they are not if that's what you meant

Yea, which further proves why Alabama and Georgia had a much easier path to Atlanta than other SEC teams

This year, LSU has played SEC East teams that are 9-1 and 8-2. Neither team has lost out of conference.

Bama, on the other hand has gotten to play 5 and 6 in the SEC East. Combined record, 9-11 (UT and Mizzou). To make matters worse, next year they get 6 and 7, both with new coaches. LSU gets 1 and 2 in the East.

LSU has played four teams currently in the top ten, and has a 2-2 record. Alabama has the same winning percentage against teams in the top ten, going 1-1.

I am not upset about it and you can only just line up and play who you are scheduled to play, but there certainly isn't a balance or fairness in the schedules. And the schedulers could have done whatever they wanted the last two years...

Sorry y'all got the short straw. We'll get it one year when we're good and see what happens.

We already know what happens. Yall got the "short end of the straw" in 2010 with bye weeks...but Saban bitched enough and the SEC made a new rule about it

Our schedule looked pretty decent at the beginning of they year. Michigan, Arkansas, LSU, and Mississippi State. Plus there's always surprise teams like A&M. That's just how the cards fell
