I obviously wandered into some dumbass rivalry shite.

I could care less about what Arkansas thinks of me thanking TAM for their culture supporting our armed forces.

It's true for every military thread. Everyone jumps on someone because they didn't lavishly praise the military

Sorry that I didn't wet myself over the fact that a massive military school has produced a ton of successful soldiers. It doesn't mean I don't appreciate what those people did for me. Just means that I'm not surprised by the numbers. Some people took what I said wrong.

You mean the ROTC factory of Texas has produced more military accomplishments than most schools? I'm shocked.

Saying sarcastic shite like this is what makes you a cock. The thread was specifically for appreciation for the institutions contribution to our military. If you hate A&M thats fine. Mst people can agree that ANY contribution is a good one to our nation.

I never asked for your opinion nor attacked what you had to think about the military. Only you assholes who have an agenda to push, including you "Porker Face" are puttin words in my mouth. Take it to the Poli Board.

Never asked for any of you to comment you frick stick. You are the ones throwing streamers saying "frick them" I never asked you to say shite nor praise anyone.

If you come to an A&M game, you should go into the MSC and read the citations of all the Medal of Honor recipients. Reading those made me feel horribly inadequate and almost unworthy of being associated with the same school and the same uniform.

I hope to make it there to see those. Thank you for telling me about them. Great win tonight.

frickin' THIS. I felt like I owed it to them to go start a war and join up to fight, just to be worthy.

I can't tell you how relieved I am that somebody else felt the same way.

Thing is, after you read them you probably went and had a slice and bowled a few frames.

I'm still on active duty (going on 13 years), and have been through 3 wartime deployments and a tour in Korea. Nothing I've done or ever will do could possibly measure up to those 7 men.

Actually, the last time I read them was when I was showing my wife (then girlfriend) on a campus tour that ended at the Century Oak.

This. No matter how gung-ho of a cadet/active duty member/retired member you are, that display is a very humbling experience.

ETA: Thanks for your service, CGSC--I pray I'm blessed to have done half as much as you already have when I get to where you are in my career in the armed services. Nothing but respect, sir

It's not as conservative as it was. You guys can marry now if you wish, and serve in the military.
