The biggest flaw is "perceived" conference strength. It's next to impossible for these top 10 SEC teams to drop out of the top 10 even with a loss which in turn makes their SOS look better than it really is.

According Sagarin SoS is clearly listed as follows:
KSU: 29
Oregon: 45
ND: 28
LSU: 21
UGA: 40
USCe: 30
Alabama: 14
Did I misread the SoS for this weeks Sagarin Rating? If not how do you conclude that Alabama's schedule is "weak"

I am NOT forwarding an argument that LSU and/or Alabama are the top teams in the land. Not even arguing that either of them are better than A&M at this point of the season.
BUT.....A&M beats Bama by 5 points on the road and that qualifies as "A&M whooped up on Bama" while LSU beating A&M by 5 points on the road and that qualifies as "a field goal away from beating LSU"?
