Sagarin ranked the SEC East the weakest P5 division this year (ie. DOWN)

Last year when Mizzou won the East Sagarin ranked the East as the 2nd best P5 division.

seriously though, they might want to check into the algorithm they are using, it's flagging badly if it really had the East #2 last year.

Its just a phase. Florida will get back down there. As far as the division is concerned, UT will take it if we don't get a good coach.

South Carolina is going for appearance number 9. They are 7-0 in November and are without a doubt a basketball power now.

The West is strong... and I'm sure ranked the #1 or #2 division. But if the East is THAT weak, it probably means the West is weaker than we think.
Ole Miss lost to Florida
Auburn lost to Georgia
Those were the only two losses by the West to Eastern teams.
But Tennessee almost beat both Arky and Alabama
Florida almost beat LSU
Kentucky almost beat Auburn
South Carolina played Texas A&M close
Nearly half of the games played between the East and the West were close games.
That tells me that the East is not quite as bad as its portrayed. Or the West is not quite as strong as its portrayed. It's probably a combo of both.
