they have since they went back to a 9 game schedule.

They only played 2 ranked OOC teams

Notre Dame
Northern Illinois

lost both of them.

This

9 game schedules are ranked better by computers because there is one less non conference game in the mix that would likely be against a weak team and one more game against a stronger conference foe.

Beat us, just beat us. Real simple. Playing for number 7 in a row. Most BCS wins, and it's not close. If you ignore facts, polls, results and everything else - you might be able to see it.

It also helps with SoS. A bunch of bads playing against each other looks good in Sagarin's system.

Did one of the "bottom feeders" put 58 points up on the failship by chance?

I see, and the Big12 team playing in Miami is? Such a ridiculous argument for losers.

SEC SEC SEC

And the reason for that is because of the bias towards your team and your head coach has put you in the NCG with one conference loss over the last 2 BIG 12 champions....with 1 conference loss. The Big 12 champion the past 2 seasons have done little to keep themselves out of the NCG.......they're just not named Alabama.

Any significant SEC non conference win? I said significant so don't come with wins against ACC teams. Myself and 10 kids on my block can win that conference.

Why play a difficult non conference schedule in the BIG 12? They don't have the luxury like the SEC does of being able to get in the NCG every year with at least 1 loss. You practically have to go undefeated or you won't get the benefit of the doubt.

Just an fyi, but you're usually on the wrong side of a discussion when you make your assertion with qualifiers.

It shows the weakness in your argument.

And thats the problem with the system. It seems human pollsters base their rankings on previous seasons success. That's a huge fail. Think about it. No conference champion will get in the NCG over a SEC champion with the same record. These 1 loss conference champions will continue to get put behind 1 loss Alabama teams.....regardless if they win their conference.

The Big 12 ain't that much better than the ACC.

The Big 12 is garbage and the SEC owns it. Just look at the Cotton Bowl- lower picked SEC team goes and beats a higher picked Big 12 team. There are significant in conference wins in the SEC. With rare exceptions, there are no significant conference wins in the Big 12. You have Oklahoma who hasn't won against a team that matters in a bowl game in forever. Texas is garbage. TAMU was nothing special until this year. K State? LOL- SEC team without SEC talent = fail.

The Big 12 has been completely non-competitive with the SEC in bowl games in the BCS era. That's not a problem with the system but a problem with the Big 12.

Typical ACC fan. Hanging on the coattails of the conference that owns that arse. Ask aTm about the BIg 12. Nevermind Johnny Football...ask that defense that played in the BIG 12 last season and ranked 80th in scoring defense vs. this season in the SEC where they rank in the 20's. Not easy to play spread offenses every week.

Again you can't determine where teams should be ranked this year based on previous season's bowl results. That's unfair. Hell Nick Saban's bowl record is 7-6 yet he gets the benefit of the doubt every season.

I'm not an ACC fan, but thanks for playing. My favorite team is FSU, but first and foremost, I'm a football fan. I love the game and understand the game, the latter of which is more than we can say for you.

The Big 12 didn't even start using the spread until the SEC had already figured it out. That's right. Your spread offenses are of SEC origin. You would say "Nevermind Johnny Football." It demonstrates, beyond doubt, how little you understand of football. It was critical for their defense to have Manziel running the show on offense. Take the Alabama game, the three quick scores and excellent play by Manziel completely turned the Bama offensive game plan upside down. Scoring lots of points can put teams in automatic passing situations. Saying Manziel is irrelevant is like saying a holding penalty on first down is irrelevant.

Go back to watching Saturday cartoons, you'll understand more of GI Joe than you do a football game.
