No wonder. That's in the middle of no man's land. Close enough to make a bbq trip though. Thanks for the heads up

1 quart mayonnaise. 3/4 quart apple cider vinegar. 1/2 cup corn syrup. 1/4 tablespoon cayenne pepper. Prepared horseradish. Lemon juice. Salt and freshly ground black pepper.

That's got to be good.

So is it used like regular bbq sauce? As in slathered on and cooked and then more added or is it put on a dry rub chicken after it's cooked?

It's almost lunch and I'm getting hungry.

I like where this thread is heading. We need a running list of these AL BBQ joints.

That's it. I used to have kin who lived in that area. That was some goodness. Wasn't sure if they were still around.

Usually used in two ways:
1) Just add it after the cook.
2) If you're cooking a whole or half bird then you can dunk or baste in the middle of the cook and reapply towards the end.

No but I've heard of it. I just never go to the Jasper area.

I'll add this-Archibalds is a rib joint. I mean I think they *might* have other stuff on the menu, but you're wasting your time ordering anything other than their ribs. Its what they do and they do it WELL.

With Saw's, I like their ribs but they've got other strong offerings like their Pork-n-Greens: Pulled pork on top of cheese grits, braised greens, crispy onion straws drizzled with BBQ sauce.
