Are you arguing that the SEC is not down this year? I've stated elsewhere already that every conference is down this year and the SEC is no exception. There's Bama, then a few decent teams, then a lot of bad teams. Few good QBs.

more times than not, busts in the NFL

Yeah, that's not a thing. As a matter of fact, we've had more Pro-Bowlers than "busts" under Saban.

Neat, huh?

What facts support its a down year in the SEC? Other than your opinion?

Please list all these great SEC teams not named Bama.
Ole Miss lost multiple games including Memphis.
Ark lost multiple games including Toledo.
LSU is unranked and almost lost its coach.
SC is so bad it's coach quit.
UGA is mediocre and lost it's coach.
State has a decent QB and multiple losses.
Florida would be good if it had a QB.
Aggie is awful.
Vandy is awful.
Ky is awful.
Mizzou is awful and lost it's coach.
Tenn has multiple losses.
Auburn is not good.

So give me the facts that show these are great teams.

Lol, this is always the narrative when a rival team has a guy who's gonna win it. Do yourself a favor and go check the strength of schedule of an Alabama compared to other leagues. Then come back and try to defend the "down year in the SEC" bullshite. Bama is 5th in the country in SOS. Check the other contenders.

We aren't going to do your homework for you. Go ahead and do the research. If you can find enough brain cells to rub together and post on a message board, you can find SOS rankings.

Tell me which of those teams are good. I acknowledge Bama is good. And I acknowledge the other conferences aren't that good either. It shouldn't be hard for you to do. According to the newest ESPN poll, Florida is 15, ole miss 17, and LSU is 23. Is that impressive by SEC standards?

I think you're retarded.

If Henry wins the Heisman, it will be because he earned it- not because Saban gave the committee an eye.

Bama is a 17 pt favorite over the East champs, a team without a QB. The SEC is bad other than Bama.

Yep, rankings only tell part of the story.

FWIW... When SEC teams play each other, one of them loses!

So being 8-3 or 7-4 doesn't necessarily make you bad anymore than going 10-2 in the ACC or Big 10 makes you good.

Which Is how it is every year, in every conference. And normally the SEC has multiple top 15 teams. After Bama destroys Fla, there might not be any other top 15 SEC teams. Ole Miss also lost to Memphis if you want to consider Ole Miss a power.

Ole Miss lost to the east champs, Arkansas and a good Memphis team. They also beat #2 Alabama

Arkansas lost to 9-2 Toledo. .ok

LSU lost to 3 SEC schools

SC beat NC , the 11-1 ACC division champs.

Georgia lost to 3 SEC teams

Ags lost to SEC teams

Aub beat Louisville, lost to SEC teams...

Do you see a trend here?

Both DH and LF are in a class of their own.
However, it is interesting that even though DH has had an illustrious career in HS and ncaa, that there are a couple of things to note regarding their chosen universities and their speed...

DH is a transplant from FL
LF is home grown from LA
DH's fastest time in the 100 meter in HS was 11.11
LF's fastest time in the 100 meter in HS was 10.68
LF also ran the 200 meter; only dropping 0.21.(21.57)

DH and LF are legends, but LSU's legend is home grown, and faster!

Would this be your narrative if LF hadn't had 2 bad games and was leading the Heisman race?

Not only that, I'm pretty sure Bama's only Heisman finalist making it to New York was Jay Barker in 1994 finishing 3rd.

Jay Barker finished 5th in the Heisman voting in 1994. David Palmer finished 3rd the year before.

That, plus saban wants the world to think henry is better by running him 50 times a game....

If henry wins, he may be the first winner with a rubber band full of multi-colored moose turds coming out of the back of his helmet.
