Yea, ok. That's why when LSU offered him, it made him the first 2 mill a year coach and the highest paid in America at the time. Totally a fall back candidate.

If I recall, LSU did not reach out to Coach Saban. His agent made the first inquiries through Tuohy. If Chancellor Emmert had not been in place, no doubt the AD would have screwed this up.
